Alexandra Shipp
Alexandra Shipp is known for her performance as the iconic mohawk-clad 'Storm' super heroine in Twentieth Century Fox's X-Men directed by Bryan Singer. Shipp is portrayed as a younger model of Storm (originally performed by Halle Berry). To play the role that 'Storm' plays, she gives it a different spin. A number of media outlets called Shipp the "breakout movie star" in the film. Shipp reprised her role of "Storm," in the sequel film X-Men Dark Phoenix. Shipp co-starred with Nick Robinson in Fox 2000's coming-of-age story Love, Simon., which was based on the well-known Young Adult book "Simon VS the Homo Sapien Agenda." Spinning Man, a psychological thriller based on George Harrar's novel, also starred Shipp. The actress had significant roles following year in the action thriller A Dog's Way to Home, the action-packed Shaft, and the comedy Jexi.
